• Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6: 00pm.

GRASS ROOTS TENNIS

• Open to all children ages 7-17.

• Must have registration form filled out by parent before playing tennis.

• Students may arrive at 4:20 for tennis class.

• Classes begin at 4:30 p.m. and end promptly at 5:50.

• Children should be picked up promptly at 6:00 p.m.

• Classes are held on Monday , Wednesday, Friday.

• There is no grass roots tennis on Tuesday and Thursday.

• Grass roots tennis is free of charge.

• Positive behavior is a requirement for the children to participate in grass roots tennis.

• Parents will be contacted if behavior becomes disruptive to others.

• All students must listen to their coaches.

• Students will not be admitted after 5:00 p.m. to the class.

RECREATIONAL TENNIS PROGRAM

• Students that show improvement will be promoted to the recreational program by their coaches.

• This program is $99.00 a year. Payment can be made by the month or by the year..

• They can play and practice with other students, use the courts, practice wall, play matches and work on getting better.

• Some volunteer coaching may be available on certain days.

• Recreational players will still be involved in the Grass Roots training routine on M-W-F at 4:30 but they will have more opportunity to play tennis.

• Before any student in this program can advance to a training group, they must have a coach's recommendation.

Beyond these two levels of tennis requires a financial responsibility for the parents. All tennis-training programs are fee based. It is important that parents understand this. In our program, we can make arrangements for children that may be financially challenged but behavior, commitment, discipline and hard work are necessary components in order for this arrangement to work. Most tennis programs of this nature run at $100.00 plus per week. We offer outstanding coaches with an incredible amount of experience. Our commitment is to offer kids an opportunity to have great coaching at all levels of play from Grass Roots to the top of the ladder. A fee program at all levels is just not possible but all monies are put back into the kids' program for whatever is needed.

But we do offer a safe environment where coaches are concerned about the total development of the children. Academics and life skills as well as tennis are at the top of our concerns. Every child that enters our program will have the chance to progress if they make the decision to do so. Parents should feel free to communicate with coaches off court about their child's progress.

HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING

• This group is an intense training group for those students playing tournaments and seeking a state ranking.

• Many students invited to this group are planning on playing High School Tennis and College Tennis.

• Their training has taken on a new level of intensity and discipline.

• Commitment to serious training is necessary.

• Parental involvement is important, but parents should not interfere with coaches and their training. Please let the coaches do their jobs.

• Coaches will become more involved with the players at the tournament level.
